These terms govern access to and use of ParlePal's AI-powered speaking practice platform.
By accessing or using ParlePal, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you should not use the service.
ParlePal provides AI-powered language speaking practice, including solo speaking sessions, classroom-related learning features, billing features, and performance history through a private online dashboard.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your information reasonably up to date.
Certain ParlePal features require the purchase of minute-based credits. Purchased credits are intended for use within the ParlePal platform and may be subject to pricing, availability, and billing provider terms shown at checkout. We may update pricing or product packaging at any time for future purchases.
If a payment is processed successfully, credits are typically applied automatically after billing confirmation. If you believe credits were not applied correctly, you should contact support with your purchase details.
You agree not to misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with platform operation, reverse engineer protected systems beyond what is permitted by law, or use ParlePal for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.
ParlePal uses AI-generated responses and automated evaluation features. While we aim to provide helpful learning experiences, AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent. ParlePal is provided as a learning support tool and does not guarantee academic results, exam outcomes, or language proficiency gains.
ParlePal, including its software, design, branding, and related content, is owned by or licensed to ParlePal and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, distribute, or exploit platform content or software for commercial purposes without permission.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms, misused the platform, or created risk for the service, other users, or third parties.
ParlePal is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that the service will always meet your expectations or requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ParlePal will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities arising from your use of the service.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updated terms become effective when posted on this page. Continued use of ParlePal after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
For questions about these terms, billing issues, or support requests, you can contact ParlePal through the contact details or support channel listed on the website.
